I Am A Barber Because: The mystique of the barbershop has intrigued me since I was a young boy. I learned early on that barbershops everywhere are entrenched in their communities. It’s more than a place to get a haircut — it’s a place where you socialize, and young men can grow from that. When I was given the opportunity to open my own shop, I wanted to bring that feeling to Joliet, and I jumped on it.
In 20+ years of barbering, and opening my own shop in 2004, the place has evolved; and any time the shop’s hot topics can go from sports to food to local politics. I appreciate it when people can freely speak their mind, and when waiting clients chime in. In the mean time nothing less than quality barber haircuts are given to each person.

I am Flavio Guzman.
I love possessing my skills since I started experimenting cutting hair back in the 7th grade thru my freshman year of high school. Taking advantage of the pandemic I decided to go to school and obtain my Illinois Barber License.
So I’m from Chicago born and raised in the Pilsen community settled my adolescent life until now on the South-side of Chicago.
I’m very pleased to be here at Louie’s, and look forward to seat you in my chair for an awesome haircut here at Louie’s Barbershop in Joliet, IL.
